How I use it

I used Riverside to capture audio and video for the podcast. Riverside records both audio and video locally for the host and the guests. What that means is that the files are recorded on each speaker's computer and then uploaded to the host via the cloud.

Why does this matter? Well, it means that these files are received in high-fidelity without compression or going through the internet. That means you're getting audio and video straight from the source – which makes it sound like you're in the same room.

Riverside has continued to improve the product over time and now has powerful editing, clipping, and transcription features too.
